Colleges Pay for Students Sex-Change Surgeries

That is a question many students and parents are asking.

Stanford University covers sex-change surgery for students.

Brown University’s student health plan has decided to extend it’s coverage to include sex-change surgery, also known as gender-reassignment, beginning this August, and Brown isn’t the first University to do this.

With over 30 colleges and Universities already providing some time of insurance coverage for gender reassignment.

College health plans are changing, just as the face of their students do as well.
