Staying Healthy in College

It’s Time to Rethink Pulling All-Nighters

All-nighters are filled with caffeine and junk food.

All-nighters are filled with caffeine and junk food.

College students are busy with school, work, extracurricular activities and homework that sometimes they think the only option is to pull an all-nighter to get school work done. The effects of pulling all-nighters are worse than just dark circles under your eyes and needing that extra caffeine boost in the mornings.

Being up late studying can cause weight gain because at 2 a.m. while trying to study for a test, no one is thinking about a healthy snack option.

Simple things can become hard to remember because of a lack of sleep. Cramming for a test isn’t the best decision because that information you stayed up all night studying won’t be there in the long run.
